Energy efficiency is one of the latest buzzwords in new home construction and remodeling. But what does it really mean? I looked this up on Wikepdia and this is what I found.

 

Efficient energy use, sometimes simply called energy efficiency, is the goal of efforts to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. For example, insulating a home allows a building to use less heating and cooling energy to achieve and maintain a comfortable temperature.

 

So how can I make my living or work environment more energy efficient? One way is to integrate my energy usage.

This allows them to set their temperatures down or up depending on the time of day and the time of year.
